1. Cookies and browser storage

A cookie is a small piece of text a website asks your browser to keep and send back on later visits. Browser storage (“local storage”) is similar, but stays in your browser and is not sent to the server. Both can be used for useful things — remembering your language — or for tracking you across websites. Our own code uses them only for the first; the ad cookies Google may set on the website are explained in section 3.

2. The website (360marketview.com)

Our own code on the website — including 360 Academy, the docs and these legal pages — sets no cookies. It keeps these items in your browser’s local storage, only after you do the thing they remember:

Name What it remembers Stays until
360mv.lang the language you chose with EN · AZ, so the site opens in it next time you clear it
360mv.theme light or dark, on the pages that offer the switch you clear it
360mv.academy.done.v1 the lessons you marked as done in 360 Academy you clear it
360mv.academy.start your answer to “Where do you start?” in 360 Academy you clear it
360mv.chat.visitor the chat id, set only if you write in the live chat, so you see your conversation again you clear it

If you used the old Learning Hub, the academy also reads its list of finished lessons (360marketview.learn.completed.v1) once, to carry your progress over. The docs keep which sidebar groups you opened (sl-sidebar-state) in the tab’s session storage, which your browser clears when you close the tab.

None of these is sent to us or to anyone else. The fonts are served from our own site. The only third-party script on the website is Google’s, for the ads below, on the English pages.

3. Ads on the website (Google AdSense)

The website’s English pages show ads served by Google AdSense; the Azerbaijani pages show none. Google chooses which ads appear and where on the page; we do not choose them, and we never give Google your name, your email or anything from your account.

To show and measure these ads, Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies in your browser — including to show you ads based on your visits to this website and other websites, to limit how often you see the same ad, to count views and clicks, and to prevent fraud. Your browser loads Google’s script from Google’s servers, which receive your IP address and browser details with each request. Google sets how long its cookies stay, unless you delete them first. How Google uses this information: Google’s advertising policy and how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Your choices:

  • Turn off personalised ads from Google in Google’s Ads Settings. You still see ads, but not ones based on your visits to other websites.
  • Opt out of personalised ads from other companies that take part in the Digital Advertising Alliance’s program, at www.aboutads.info.
  • If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, the website shows a consent message before ad cookies are used, and ads follow your choice.
  • Delete or block cookies in your browser (section 5).

4. The app

The app (app.360marketview.com) shows no ads and loads no advertising script. When you sign in to the app, it uses:

Name Kind What it does Stays
refreshToken cookie, HTTP-only keeps you signed in; sent only to our sign-in service, and cannot be read by scripts on the page 30 days, or until you sign out
sidebar_state cookie whether the side menu is open or closed 7 days
pf.accessToken local storage a short-lived sign-in token for your requests until it expires or you sign out
pf.*, 360marketview.* local storage display choices: language, theme, privacy mode, the portfolio you last opened, chart and calendar settings, screener layout until you clear them

These are needed for the app to work as you set it; none of them tracks you.

TradingView. Some stock and index pages in the app show a chart or panel from TradingView, which your browser loads from TradingView’s servers. TradingView may set its own cookies, under its own policy.

5. How to remove them

You can delete cookies and site data at any time in your browser’s settings (usually under Privacy, “Cookies and site data”). The website then forgets your language and lesson progress, Google’s ad cookies are gone, and in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland the consent message asks again; the app signs you out.

6. Changes

If we ever add another cookie or tool that is not strictly needed — for example analytics — we will list it here first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
