Connect ChatGPT or Claude
Make a personal link in 360marketview, add it to your AI app, and ask about your portfolio. Three steps, about two minutes.
Connecting takes two parts: a personal link made in 360marketview, and a custom connector in your AI app that uses it. The app’s own screens change often, so each set of steps below says when it was last checked against the app maker’s guide.
1. Make your link in 360marketview
Section titled “1. Make your link in 360marketview”-
Sign in to 360marketview and open Settings › AI apps. The 360 AI Hub’s Connect ChatGPT or Claude opens the same place.
-
Choose Connect ChatGPT or Connect Claude. In the dialog, pick the app — ChatGPT, Claude, or Claude Code for the terminal.
-
Choose what it may do: Read only (the default) or Read and manage, which also lets it keep your watchlists, chart notes and alerts. Give the connection a name if you like, then select Create my link.
-
Copy the link. It is shown only once — keep it private, like a password. If you lose it, disconnect the connection and make a new one.
The link looks like https://app.360marketview.com/api/v1/mcp/mv_mcp_…. The part after the last / is your
token. Claude Code is given a command with the token in a header instead.
2. Add it to your AI app
Section titled “2. Add it to your AI app”You need: ChatGPT on the web (chatgpt.com). Custom MCP servers depend on your ChatGPT plan and, for a work account, your workspace’s settings.
-
Open Plugins, select +, then Add custom MCP server.
-
Name it 360marketview. Under Connection, paste your link into Server URL.
-
Set authentication to No authentication — the token in your link signs you in.
-
Read the warning, select I understand and want to continue, then Create as a plugin, and install it.
-
In a chat, type @ and choose 360marketview. Now ask about your portfolio.
ChatGPT asks you before it uses a tool that changes something. You can tell it to remember your answer for the rest of a conversation; a new conversation asks again.
Checked against OpenAI’s guide, Connect from ChatGPT , on 19 October 2026.
You need: claude.ai or the Claude desktop app. Custom connectors are on every Claude plan; the Free plan allows one. On a Team or Enterprise plan, an owner adds the connector for the organisation.
-
Go to Customize › Connectors, select + Add, then Add custom connector.
-
Name it 360marketview, paste your link as the remote MCP server URL, and select Continue.
-
Under Authentication, choose No sign in — the token in your link signs you in. Select Add.
-
In a chat, select + at the lower left, then Connectors, and switch 360marketview on.
The first time Claude uses a tool it asks your permission. Always allow lets it use that tool without asking again.
Checked against Anthropic’s guide,
Getting started with custom connectors
, on 19 October 2026.
You need: Claude Code in a terminal. Choose Claude Code when you make the connection: 360marketview gives you this command with your token in it.
-
Run it once:
Terminal window claude mcp add --transport http 360marketview https://app.360marketview.com/api/v1/mcp \--header "Authorization: Bearer <YOUR_TOKEN>" -
Start Claude Code and type
/mcp. 360marketview should be listed as connected. -
Ask about your portfolio.
To use it in every project rather than this one, add --scope user before the name.
3. Ask
Section titled “3. Ask”Start with something only your own numbers can answer:
How did my portfolio do this month against the S&P 500, and which stock helped most?
The app shows which tools it called. More to try: Example questions.
Disconnect
Section titled “Disconnect”In 360marketview, Settings › AI apps › Connected apps lists every connection with when it was made and last used. Disconnect stops it at once. Removing the connector in ChatGPT or Claude alone does not — the link still works until you disconnect it here.
