Troubleshooting

The connector won't connect, the app doesn't use it, or the answer looks wrong — what to check.

“This MCP link is not valid”

The token is wrong or was disconnected. Copying it can drop a character, and a connection disconnected in Settings › AI apps stops at once. Make a new connection and update the connector with the new link.

The app answers without using 360marketview

ChatGPT: type @ in the message box and choose 360marketview for that chat.
Claude: select + at the lower left, then Connectors, and check that 360marketview is switched on.
Ask about something only 360marketview knows — “my portfolio”, “my holdings”. A general question (“what is a P/E?”) may be answered from the app’s own knowledge.

“Your access has ended”, or the account isn’t open yet

The connection signs in as your account, so it works only while the account does: after its email is confirmed and it is open, and while its trial or plan runs. When a trial ends, nothing is deleted; write to [email protected] to continue.

The app says it can’t make changes

The connection is Read only. Its access level can’t be changed: make a new connection with Read and manage, then disconnect the old one.

The numbers differ from the app

The AI app may round or recalculate. Ask it to quote 360marketview’s figures as given.
Prices move: a figure read a few minutes ago can differ from the screen now.
Check that it read the right portfolio. Without a name it uses your default one.
If a figure is still wrong, the app’s own screen is the reference — write to us with what you asked and what it said.

“The answer is too large”

Ask for less: a shorter period, fewer symbols, or one page of trades at a time.

Claude Code shows the server as failed

Run /mcp to see the error. Check that the command used https://app.360marketview.com/api/v1/mcp (without a token at the end) and the header Authorization: Bearer <YOUR_TOKEN>. To start again: claude mcp remove 360marketview, then add it once more.
